A short but powerful opening statement that sets the humanitarian tone of WAR TORN. Slave Music

ARTISTS // HZPROD, Marco Vernice & Charles Hamilton

SONIC LORE & PURPOSE

“Slave Music” examines the idea of artistic freedom and ownership, questioning who truly controls an artist, their creativity, and the work they create. Through its darker, reflective production, the track connects historical ideas of enslavement with modern forms of exploitation, especially the economic, cultural, contractual, and psychological pressures within the music industry.

War Within

ARTISTS // HZPROD, Horseshoe G.A.N.G. & Zombie Juice

SONIC LORE & PURPOSE

A deeply personal reflection on the wars people carry long after physical conflict ends. “War Within” connects HZPROD’s family history and experiences of displacement with themes of survival, trauma, social pressure, and the struggle to escape both external and internal prisons. Peace?

ARTISTS // HZPROD, KXNG Crooked, The Game & Mickey Factz

SONIC LORE & PURPOSE

“Peace?” is built around a difficult question: if everyone says they want peace, why does conflict continue? The track brings together KXNG Crooked, The Game, and Mickey Factz for a cinematic, hard-hitting reflection on war, violence, power, and the gap between the idea of peace and the reality people experience.

ACT IV NO. 08

Dreamer

ARTISTS // HZPROD, Marco Vernice & Siggas

SONIC LORE & PURPOSE

“Dreamer” confronts the realities of war, exploitation, inequality, and global suffering while holding onto the idea that hope and imagination can survive even in the darkest circumstances. Marco Vernice opens the track with direct references to conflicts including Sudan and Gaza, while Siggas expands the message through themes of colonial legacy, identity, and systemic injustice. The cinematic boom-bap production creates a tension between the weight of those realities and the song’s underlying message of resilience and hope.
